Rigo introduces State of Origin

RUGBY LEAGUE

AN Origin series is set to land in the Rigo district of Central Province and already a proposal has been drawn up to attract corporate backing for the three match series.
Rigo rugby league president Gwaibo Mairi said the village league has taken this approach to adapt this concept in order to raise the level of player performances, club official management capacities and increase in fans and spectators interest in the game.
The selected players and officials for teams are: Rigo Central Blues- Jubilee Otto, John Naime, Moki Leva, George Mareva, Gouna Lalai, Emmanuel Kiki, Brian Buro, David Nigona, David Subamo, Terry Tola, Raka Gideon, Sydney Arodi, Mero Vai, Korema Korema, Tipuna Puana, Tovoga Kone, Jimmy Temoana, Osborne Willie, Kini Mana, Vadi Kila.
Team management: Otto Silona (team manager), Fako Maraki (coach), Kiki Raga (trainer), Vari Fore, Bala Kapa, Togi (line managers).
Rigo Coast Maroons: Daure Erick, Tom Simon, Joe Keto, Kwalimu Gerega, Gulu Gerega, Tau Ringo, Iovai Numana, Damien Agai, Saulo Raina, Geno Segana, Iobu Maino, Willie Wano, Raga Koru, Martin Maguli, Lea Gebo, Napo Pala, John Martin, Gabao Gana, Colin Verave, Peter Magela.
Team management: Brian Kilavanua (president), Kila Turana (team manager) and the coach, trainer and two line managers yet to be appointed.
The scheduled dates for the Rigo origin series are July 8, 15 and 22 and the three matches will all be played at the Kwikila rugby league grounds.

I didnt see that coming! Well good on them,but havent they considered something on the national scale such as New Guinea region Vs. Papua Region+Highlands Region.......Anyfeed back???

Bro I just read in the Courier Mail,that Hunt has been confirmed with Swine Flu........I hope alls well with the Maroons coz they got their big game coming up in 10days! MAY GOD BLESS AND PROTECT THE MAROONS!
